I was asked this same question when applying at the Pasadena,CA store on Lake Ave. I was applying for a reg.sales Assoc. position. At the end of the interview I was told they had many more interviews. She was very nice "Marie"....but these "AST" people always ALL wear black...depressing and somehow daring your Karma. One of the people in black was wearing a very short skirt, was not in good shape...and wore NO HOSERY !!!....When this store was still Bullocks, this would have got you sent home !........times have truly changed for the worse I am afraid.
