Obviously not an unexpected question, but a difficult one in this context. It's easy to say that the Exploratorium is a great place, lots of fun opportunities, and give other generic answers, but I found the best answers to be specific to my previous work experience and to what I want to get out of the job. I had programming, design, and physical fabrication skills, and talked about how excited I was to put all of those skills to work and improve on all of them; I explained that education is the single thing I believe is most important in any person's life and looked forward both to improving education for others and for myself; I described how important it is to me to work in a diverse work environment and to be sharing ideas with others and working together to create new things.
