I went through two stages of interview, and never got a call back after the second stage, and thank god for that. The first interview was relatively straightforward and was very pleasant. Basic questions about my background (had to do a personality test before hand) and my knowledge of the Attribution space. I worked hard to understand their technology and it showed. I was then given the chance to present to the CEO. This is where it went downhill. The camera turned on and I saw someone slumped in the corner of a room with a hoodie covering half his face and lighting very poor. His tone was condescending and dismissive, which put me off immediately. I messed up the discovery part of the call, but by that point, I knew I never wanted to work for someone like that, and promptly bombed the interview. I was desperate at that point for a job and might have taken it if the offer had come through, but thankfully the sisters of fate were kind to me.
