Write basic Laravel methods that sort items by date (and other basic, run off the mill functions you'd see in most codebases) and return them to a basic Vue component.

I was provided a text edtior and shared my screen, and wrote code that accomplished what they were asking. Explained my thought process. My syntax with some items wasn't perfect, but that apparently wasn't what they were concerned about... more that their candidates think like developers.
