Interviewer called early and clearly didn’t want to be on the call. Very monotone, didn’t sound excited about the company whatsoever, and cut me off while I was speaking several times. There were several awkward pauses after I answered the questions and waited for the next one to be asked. Nothing was asked about my skill set, personality, or qualifications for the role. Interviewer went on to explain that this role is door to door and they don’t provide any leads. All of the fuel, phone, and other expenses are not covered by the company. Most of the questions I asked were answered by directing me to their website (which goes by a different name). Was also informed that there is no team environment and essentially all the salesman do not want to be bothered as they are focused on themselves. There is a Sales Manager for support but informed that he will never be in the state I am located in. Interviewer shared the amount of average sale and when I asked commission structure or percentage they could not answer as they, “do not have that information.” Tried to schedule another call for me to speak with someone else in the company about commission percentage…no thank you. Scheduled for 30 minutes and lasted less than 10 minutes. The entire conversation felt as if the interviewer was trying to talk me out of the position. Essentially they are just looking for bodies. Lots of red flags.
