I was invited to an in-person interview, which was conducted by the area manager, after the interview had finished, I was then asked to come in for a trial shift in one of the stores the following week, again to work with the area manager. On the day of the trial shift I was asked with only a couple of hours notice to go to another store to do my trial shift instead. I agreed, even though I was now doing this process with a sales advisor and not anyone to do with the interview process. After the trial shift, I sent a courtesy message back thanking everyone for their time and look forward to hearing from them. This message was never answered or acknowledged and I never heard from anyone again, not a phone call or message thanking me for my time or even to let me know I had been unsuccessful at this stage. This made me feel like I was just used for store cover that was understaffed at the time.
