Two stages. Stage 1 with recruiter. Stage 2 with board. Huge gaps between the interviews and actually quite challenging to pin down feedback or follow ups. Recruiter behaved very cryptically. The role was described both in description and in conversation as ‘a longing to depart from government or local authority based funding’. I was disappointed to learn the CEO appointed was a former government employee with no other industry (public sector only) experience. If I had known then I would not have applied. I felt quite misled.
