      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'altra fonte. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Ziebart (Indianapolis, IN) nel mese di nov 2022

      Colloquio

My first interview went ok. It felt a little rushed, but they took the time to bring me to a back room and explain what they do and what they are looking for. I applied to work in their body shop, but was told that they wanted me to work with customers on the phone at the store counter. I was a little reluctant, but went along with it anyway. At the second interview, they explained that they were looking for an assistant manager and were looking to train me for it. It's not quite what I was shooting for, but I went ahead with it anyway. I was then told that you DO NOT request time off under any circumstances because the needs of the company come first. They then went on to explain that there's frequent drama between coworkers, managers, and between family members that run the company. This raised a few red flags for me, but then they went on to ask unnecessary personal questions like if I was married, had kids, and if I had my car paid off or not. That is none of their business and felt very unprofessional. I looked into it and it turns out that those are inappropriate and "illegal" questions to ask in an interview. They then dismissed me, gave me a business card, and sent me on my way. I received a call later saying that I got the job, and that I can start tomorrow if I want. I ended up declining their offer. Very sketchy interview process for me. I guess it wasn't what I was looking for, but it might be a great opportunity for some people.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Are you married? Do you have any kids? Is your car paid off? What work did you do before? (They hadn't even glanced at my resume).
