The technical interview was very relaxing. Two engineers tried to help as much as they could/ steer you in the right direction and were very nice. Never did I feel like they were trying to catch me out or see me fail. They initially told me about who they were and their roles within the company and then proceeded to ask me technical questions.

The interview was scheduled using an internship posting/application website specific to my university. I was among 25 other scheduled candidates for the internship. The interview itself was conducted by an HR person and an engineer on staff with the company, who presumably would be supervising me should I get the job. The interview consisted of 2 parts, first a standard interview with standard interview questions. What do I consider greatest asset, what is greatest weakness, how do I schedule my time around a busy schedule, etc. All the sort of questions that you would expect a firm hiring straight out of college would ask. The second part consisted of a technical portion. Three engineering scenarios were presented in which a customer was reporting a problem with some apparatus, and I was asked to use my current knowledge of engineering to determine what steps might be taken to diagnose the problem. It was fairly open ended, there were lots of different angles to attack the questions from and the questions themselves were structured so that no one direction would solve the problem 100% (so they were looking for a person who could see the problem from different perspectives no doubt). The interview concluded after these questions were answered by me
