I was reached out by a recruiter. We had a brief talk about my expectations and he asked me about professional questions (!) too (I could answer all of these). After that I received a task ("homework") for which I got a weekend to complete. I think I did it pretty well and I was waiting for the response. Both the recruiter and the company's HR disappeared. After 2 or 3 weeks I got a short mail from the HR dept in which they stated that they closed the position.
