The entire interview lasted 4 min. We only discussed 2 questions. Do I have any previous work experience as an interpreter and is $15/hr ok. I asked if that rate was negotiable in any way or if there was any opportunity to make more over time. The interviewer said that full time employees could potentially make up to $40/hr, but $15/hr was the rate for everyone regardless of experience or qualifications. They also went as far as to say that the rate for Puerto Rico was $12/hr and that I should be grateful it's not that. I mentioned that the pay gap was quiet large and asked again if they take anyone's ability into consideration. They said no. Overall, not a very positive experience.
