You are a number and a resource, not a person. Your resume, experience, skills, don't matter. You are interchangeable with everyone else, both when it comes to projects and lay-offs. I was not laid off, but the fear was constantly there. The company shows an appalling lack of transparency and organization. It's always hurry up and wait, with badly given instructions. Pleasing the Client matters more than everything else, even when their expectations are beyond unreasonable.
