Compensation and Benefits is too stingy and silo and does not see real hiring market challenges so does not work to make our comp package competitive especially in this new post covid competitive market. The compensation and benefits team does not have any metric to answer tor attrition so why would they care. Good policies not always always flow down to local level, it depends on whether you have a nasty middle level manager who still acts old fashion in your business
