Management often demonstrates a lack of respect toward staff and appears to prioritize their own interests rather than supporting teachers, therapists, assistants, and other employees. Many staff members feel that if management has a personal issue with them, their concerns are dismissed regardless of their years of dedication, experience, and contributions to the organization.
There is a perception that the organization operates differently when external agencies such as the Department of Health (DOH) or Department of Education (DOE) conduct audits or visits. During these times, efforts are made to present a positive image, while day-to-day concerns raised by staff may go unaddressed.
Management would benefit from additional training in leadership, communication, and employee relations. Rather than discussing concerns about staff behind their backs, supervisors should address issues directly, professionally, and respectfully. Open and honest communication fosters trust, teamwork, and a healthier work environment.
Staff should feel valued for their experience, dedication, and hard work. Employees who have invested years of service deserve fair compensation, recognition, and support. When staff feel respected and appreciated, they are more likely to remain committed to the organization and contribute positively to its success.
