No contact with employer means they don't care about you. It also means they buy into absurd office politics, instead of caring about whether work is being done.
Employees can be, and are lazy with no oversight, and no accountability
Medical insurance is much too expensive for families.
Questionable ethics around hiring and firing. (i.e. people being fired for getting sick, and being in the hospital)
More interested in making a lot of money, than in providing quality contractors, and good life for employees.
