Since being taken over by a larger company, they've implemented some benefits and say they want to hear employee thoughts to make the culture better (whether that happens, we'll see).

As many reviews on here suggest, management is the problem and... the subsequent culture they create. In the past, bullies and untrained individuals have been promoted to senior management and then promoted their friends as well, who also aren't trained for management. This has created a culture of gossiping, secrecy through ABYSMAL communication, and favouritism. It's one rule for some people and another for everyone else. Also, the rules are forever changing with no consistent method of communication so you can't keep track. ALTHOUGH, the main reason I came on here was to say that management have become aware of the number of negative reviews on this site and want to turn this around. They've started to ask people to put positive reviews on (you'll easily find 5* reviews left by management in the midst of all the 1* reviews through the past months) so mark my words... when you see a flurry of good reviews starting to appear on here... there's a reason for that.

We are sorry to read this review. There has been no campaign to promote reviews on here to date, albeit this is absolutely fine to do if people share their real feelings - which we always welcome. Since new management has started there has been lots of genuine consultation and forums established. The 'you said we did' communication that follow these show exactly how genuine we are about being driven by colleague feedback. We hope you'll give that a chance and engage with opportunities.

Hybrid working policy, electric car scheme, CPD development, being able to shape our strategy, the people and the service we provide to those waiting on long wait lists. Being ahead of the game in terms of offerings and being the biggest provider of ADHD assessments. I like that we work closely with the NHS. Other benefits that are handy are discounts.

Svantaggi

No sick pay. A potential downside is the pace and consistently high standards, which can sometimes feel demanding. On the other hand, these expectations help maintain quality and push people to achieve their full potential.

I genuinely enjoy supporting patients and feel my work has a positive impact. The role provides a high level of clinical autonomy and allows me to use my knowledge and judgement. I have developed significant expertise in ADHD prescribing, governance and risk management. I enjoy supporting clinicians and improving patient safety through supervision and quality improvement. There are opportunities to influence clinical standards and service development. There is significant investment in staff, with ongoing access to learning and development amongst the service

The service is evolving rapidly, meaning processes and responsibilities can evolve also, however this is supported from management very well.
