Vantaggi
-International company, opportunity to relocate -Salary and benefits, not great, but not the worst
Svantaggi
-Average pay among system and net admins has consistently been 10-15k below the average compared to other employers. -Our team is a fraction of the size it should be based on the number of customers we have. -Due to the understaffing, most employees have been converted to a schedule based around 12 hour shifts just to keep day to day business going. -Site management frequently creates new projects or tasks and reprioritizes at a moments notice, ensuring nothing can be done in a timely manner. -Whenever possible, subcontractors are used for hiring because the program manager wants more freedom to cut employees at will. -New hires are often barely qualified/cleared due to the low salary, and the turnover rate is very high accordingly. -In spite of the fact that our contract is strictly to provide IT, the company still applies the frequent safety/accident training that it uses for construction contracts. They simply aren't necessary here. -Management has attempted to ease complaints by offering raises. Both times, the "raise" was achieved by cutting open positions and splitting the funding for them amongst everyone. We get a minor raise, while losing even more techs.
