Risposta di AGAM Group
5yThank you for taking some time to give your feedback to the company. We appreciate that people have different experiences and we’re sorry yours had some difficulty. We want people to be happy and fulfilled at work and when that doesn’t happen, it’s important to understand why.
Agam is rooted in delivering innovation in engineering and manufacturing with quick turnaround times. This is the company’s heritage and still the backbone of what we do. This doesn’t happen without talented people collaborating well together. We acknowledge that the pace of our work can be stressful at times but we also know it can be immensely satisfying when we solve difficult challenges for our customers, which we love to do.
We strongly feel that our work during the pandemic shows the true resolve of our company. While our industry literally disappeared because trade shows and events were cancelled indefinitely, we were able to end 2020 with just a modest decrease in sales compared to 2019, serving completely new markets with over 60 new products developed. This is compared to most in our industry who experienced revenue declines of 70% and higher. We feel this speaks to the company culture of pulling together, innovating and delivering. We’re so very proud of what our team did to realize success in a once-in-a-lifetime world-wide crisis.
As for some of your specific comments, we wanted to clarify some things. Like many companies, sales teams often have targets to reach on a weekly or monthly basis. This is something Agam really didn’t do in the past but something that’s common for most companies in order to track progress. At Agam, these are set at targets. Sometimes we hit them and sometimes we don’t. The important thing is to make sure we’re working efficiently and practicing common sales tactics like great customer service and good follow-up. We’re sorry you felt these to be unhelpful but it is important for us to track activity as good business practice. For you, it’s clear it didn’t serve as intended. We will look at this to make sure the intent is properly communicated going forward.
As for our PTO, what you stated does not reflect our policy. If for some reason we did not communicate the specifics for time off properly, we apologize.
Agam has been in business for 38 years and we’re proud of the many people at the company that have over 10 and 20 years of service. That said, we know there are things to work on continuously and as we grow, we are always open to feedback so we can improve as an organization.
Thanks again for your feedback.
