5yThanks for your review and your nod to being a good employer for Co-ops. We are proud to have been recognized many times as one of Canada’s Best Employer for Young People and Best Employers for Today’s Youth.
I appreciate that you value the training that we offer at AIR MILES. We place a strong focus on Associate development and provide them with the training they need not only for their current role, but also to help them achieve the next step in their career. In fact, in 2020, 41% of our vacancies were filled by internal transfers and promotions. That’s something we’re really proud of. Internal mobility is very important to us but I acknowledge we still have work to do. We are taking steps to actively drive change, including creating a new career-levelling framework so that we can provide more movement and progression opportunities to our Associates.
In regards to your comment on pay, market data helps us ensure that our salary ranges remain competitive and our Total Rewards team reviews market changes regularly, making changes as required to keep us competitive. We also conduct a market review of our roles on an annual basis to ensure we remain competitive.
