Taking iniative was good at first, as it allowed me to repair the facilities using my skill set of repair and problem solving. This kept the capital expenditures low for my theatre 4 years in a row. Which have my Manager bonuses I was unaware of. However, came the time to repaint the complex, I attempted to outsource due to the complexity, and was told no, use theatre crew hours, between midnight and 8am. That would allow them to open the theatre for no loss in revenue... This was not advisable. Paint takes time to dry. And crew (16 year olds) aren't supposed to work those kind of late hours, let alone are reliable....
