Fantastic coworkers, was able to learn a lot from each call, good benefits
Svantaggi
No mental health services really offered, they run you into the ground due to the extremely heavy call volume

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed your team and that you were satisified with the benefits we offer. The wellbeing and mental health of our employees is a top priority for us. We understand the challenges that come with working in EMS and this is why we have programs like GMR Life and our Employee Assistance Program to ensure our team members have the support they need. We appreciate the time you spent with us and wish you the best.
Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard
Svantaggi
Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Thank you for the 5‑star review! We’re glad to hear you’ve found strong growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, and room to develop. We also recognize the challenges that come with the demands of EMS, and we appreciate your commitment through it all. Your advice on continued investment and open communication is valued and will be shared.
There’s a good workforce here with employees who are well united on issues a strong sense that the company is actually pushing toward a positive future in terms of operations. Ambulance fleet seems to be getting good upgrades and call volume (in most areas) is manageable. There is also a good amount of OT available with bonuses/incentives available. Matching 401k is nice and health benefits are very reasonable.
Svantaggi
For being such a large operation, the pay rate seems to be lacking as of right now. Most employees with adult responsibilities are having to rely heavily on overtime/incentives just to have a semi-comfortable lifestyle outside of work. Uniforms definitely need improvements and training for new EMTs seems a bit lackluster. The morale can be low at times also due to the company being write-up happy (for lack of a better term). Lack of 24 hour units and proper posting locations makes for a somewhat harsh work day as well.
