Lack of communication within the team and with other departments leads to project delays and stress. People start off with great gusto to get things done but slowly lose their great work ethic after countless setbacks to projects. Team communication starts to fall apart and then the team dynamic shifts and becomes awkward/uncomfortable until a member of the team leaves or moves to a different role. Lack of a clear vision from management plays a role in this as well - we could work on a project for months and then the business vision shifts by the beginning of the next quarter and the project we just spent so much time working on feels pointless after the business change.
