- Low salary in comparison to competition. - New hires don't get to choose the technology they'll be put in; the job/tech you're applying for in your resume will never matter unless you're an experienced hire, and even that is not a guarantee. - One of the worst offenders of ghosting in the country, though this one is self-inflicted by employees at the lower levels as their Leads can't be bothered to adhere to core hours leading impressionable new hires to do the same. People often work overtime for 1-2 hours everyday not expecting overtime pay. - Whether you'll last is dependent on the project lottery. Some are incredibly toxic, most are fair, and very few only do tickets and maintenance (hence the easiest).
