- Some people fail to understand that doing side of desk work (i.e., non-client work) is near enough impossible when your client work takes up your working hours - You'll find this everywhere but some people are rude and don't know how to speak to people properly. No need to be condescending - we're not kids here - They were oddly reluctant to let people swap to other training programmes on the grad scheme, even though there was clear demand for it. You can take charge of your career but only up to a certain point - Not enough people being promoted, despite being worthy candidates - Took them way too long (several years) to resolve pay disparity between Technology and Consulting and when they did, management gave themselves a pat on the back ('oh we decided to forego our bonuses and promotions to correct the pay disparity that we created in the first place, i hope you can all appreciate this') instead of just apologising for the delay and the rubbish policy in the first place
