Poor bonus or none Untrustworthy staff Poor systems Meaningless meetings and micro management Unsociable hours Clueless departments Repetitive boring calls and abuse Poor training Lack of help on calls and clueless supervisors Good luck getting a reference.

You give 3 months notice, they give you 1 week plus 1 for every year. So you have no guarantee you are even getting paid at the end of the month. 2 weeks sick leave means you better not get a serious illness. Won't promote internally as "they know your capabilities". Management enjoy making nasty quips , jibes etc knowing that if you complain you can be sacked at short notice. Techical incompetence is a core value, EG we've just reinvented waterfall with much fanfare ( younger Devs may need to look that up in a history book) Squads are unable to make even basic decisions about tech. Middle management expects blind loyalty and 24/7 availability.
