No cons that I can think of

Decent benefits, federal holidays off, co-workers are great and the best part of the job but depends on your department and location. Employee events can be fun.

Insane level of nepotism in regards to treatment, pay and promotions. HR is terrible and awfully rude. Compensation is very low.
