Great Exposure, Sweet People, Good Location

Sometimes poor Management Politics a lot of it Visibility

• Amazing people, from all different backgrounds • Office location has a great view of NYC financial district • Good pay • Agile methodologies • Profitable company

• Office politics are soul crushing • Management has no respect for their employees skills or opinions • No room for growth, no track to be promoted • Sexist culture, all C-level and upper management for verticals are men. Very much a boys-club of old newspaper executives. • Recent changes to benefits and culture have taken away many of the good benefits like extra vacation time, work from home policies, medical insurance • No time to innovate, every second is filled with work. • Teams are very silo'ed in every aspect, projects, code. Working across teams is very political and requires several different managers to "sign-off" on work, when if it was done organically, it would be done by the time approvals are done (if they get approved).
