- management are approachable, listen to your ideas and opinions, give solid feedback on performance, feedback given is normally positive (which you don't see a lot in health care especially), deals with any problems or issues quickly - able to work remotely from home (again, not something you see a lot in health care) - no "hierarchy" of staff so less divide between doctors/NPs/nurses, makes teamwork effortless which helps being able to provide patient centered care - gives health care staff another means of helping people and is a less explored area of nursing, a widely different experience then working at an in-person doctor's office

- some abuse from patients has happened, as it is bound to when you are able to anonymously post on the internet. not a lot can be done about that, management is quick to help. - no set break times, some shifts are crazy and you can be busy from start to finish (as nurses, this isn't unusual) but other shifts are slower and you can take breaks as needed - working remotely there isn't someone in person to ask questions and can be hard to get an answer once in awhile if no one is at their computers/looking at their screens
