The biotech world is going through incredible turbulence with the injection and elimination of COVID vaccine money. There's a gap between current contracts before genetic medicine kicks off fully. Aldevron may be a science company, but it is being ran with a manufacturing optimization mindset. This is flawed given the current state of the industry. Innovation is desperately needed to stay competitive, which doesn't have to run counter, completely, to cost saving initiatives.
