Vantaggi
-PPO health insurance plan was great -Work culture is great, for the most part -Good work-life balance -My coworkers (team members) were amazing and made working here worth it. I learned a lot from them
Svantaggi
-Research Associates (RAs) are underpaid. Yes, it's a non-profit, but other non-profits in the area have similar health insurance plans, PTO, etc. and manage to pay their RAs better (based on my personal connections at other institutions and websites like Payscale). This issue was frequently brought up during quarterly meetings, but was always dismissed. HR would frequently say that benefits and pay were competitive, but did not share their market research. (Since leaving, I heard that HR has begun making some effort, so it may not be as frustrating anymore.) -It seemed like it doesn't matter how much effort you put in or how much you excel in your position when it comes to raises or promotions. Promotions seem to be based more on how long someone has worked here for.
