Generous PTO, compared to other companies

Even though the PTO is generous they are very strict when it comes to using it. If you are sick you are forced to find someone else to pick up your work which can take hours. Your manager has no respect for your off time and will call you on your Allstate and personal phone to ask meaningless questions. There is no work life balance. This is not a 40 hour a week job, they find ways to add responsibilies or tasks to your day without removing work load. There is a mandatory morning meeting twice a week before work hours that you are not compensated for but must attend. Reinspections are out of control and are based on opinion not fact. They tie into your raise and there is nothing you can do to fight it. Also customer surveys if done honestly are out of your control. You are directly responsible for someone's happiness sometimes months after talking to them. Senior personal have perfect scores because they manipulate surveys and the behavior is encouraged by management. Even though you are legally an expert under the law in the state of NY, Allstate forces you to violate reg 64 by conditioning repairs. Most of your raise is based on numbers not in your control, so good luck with that. A good raise to them is 2% and you better be thankful. Benefits are horrible. The lowest possible coverage available coupled with high deductible plans.
