Company is great and upper management want's their people to succeed.

The work was easy and the pay was higher than average for the job title. Very flexible schedule. Stepping stone job/ Resume builder.

Most lab assistants weren't trained or developed beyond their role so there wasn't really room for vertical movement. I suspect it's because most of us were hired to help the company process a rush of COVID-19 samples for a couple of seasons and then we were dropped (laid off). Management staffing wasn't robust enough for the amount of employees hired while I was working there. Second/third shift workers were often left figuring things out alone while first shift usually received the best support.
