1. Blatant mismatch of Core Skills for which an employee is interviewed to the matching performed at the client location.
I was matched to a project with C++ whereas my core skills were Java. If I was told at the outset that my client project would be in C++, I would've refused. Not everyone is comfortable with all the languages.
2. The client project managers are not flexible to play to your strengths. The project I received was something in which no other permanent employee was tasked with. The tasks were mostly support type in nature. There was no real development and most of the development went to the Permanent position engineers within the team.
3. The Project Partner is hell bent on scaring the employee deployed at client location.
4. The reservations of the employee will not be listened to as the client voice is paramount. It's not a Product based company by any measure of standard.
5. The number of clients during my time were minimal, I interviewed after dropping from that job and was placed at another client. But considering the bad experience I had, i opted to move out from the job to a much better place. People working with me from Altimetrik themselves came out of the client within 4 months from my departure. All had the same reservations.
5. If you seriously want to work and improve your tech calibre, please do not join this company. One wrong career move can waste precious time you could've honed your skills. I wasted 9 months of my life and I never felt better in retrospect about the company any time.
