Vantaggi

Wonderful people to work with

Svantaggi

Their time clock messes up and you better check your hours or they could short ya They will neglect the machinery and building, we always hear it’s so the management will get their huge bonuses. The problem is they will then harass the staff to death to keep the crummy stuff working past its prime. They will work you to death on weekends because their equipment doesn’t run well enough to complete orders on time. The management seems to think there is some law against them also working on the mandatory Saturdays, which will really start wearing you down. The training is done by the overworked and understaffed staff that has no time to teach, and you don’t get extra. Retention is not good. The management will have every unloved employee they have help clean up every mess in the place so they can hide all their failures for upper management visits. They will ask for feedback to use it against you. They do not want to know they are overworking you or having unreasonable expectations. You can work your rear off and go above and beyond, but you’ll feel no positive energy from it past what you give yourself. They like to threaten, demote and switch people around on shifts as punishments and to try to spread the little bit of experience left around a little, but the rest of the staff just gets angrier. They like micromanaging and you will be asked to overlap work, perform supervisory activities in oversight of other’s work and anything else they can think of to keep from having to hire enough people. 10000 excellent days would not save you from 1 failure. That failure could be directly tied to their own failures and it is still your failure. They are agists, and will strangely find all the older people in the plant have “bad attitudes” which they use to railroad them out by making them miserable. I don’t think management gets written up, and I have never seen them win on their own work ethic. They only have a part time HR They don’t seem to do regular raises. I always heard they did merit raises only, but I worked myself to the bone and never heard of getting one. They have a serious pay disparity. People doing the same work will not be getting the same money. Not all the highest paid ones are doing that great a job. They do not praise for individual high output, so forget that. You only get one week of vacation for a first year and you will notice right quick that’s not the same for the salaried staff who get off early on Fridays, have company donuts regularly and don’t work on Saturdays. They also will not be helping the dirty staff in cleaning and things for audits, which are luckily planned in advance. If the health department really wanted to, they could shut this place down in a hot minute. One week they will try to devour your soul with overtime and the next they will threaten you with disciplinary if you work 10 minutes too long. If you put your two weeks notice in, you won’t get it, and they will take great pleasure in taking your little key and things away and walking you out, valued by your team to a total nothing in one minute. They will give you voluntary yearly surveys that are mandatory and say they are anonymous. The first questions are about how long you’ve been there, gender, etc. it’s not anonymous, so you shouldn’t say too much if you have to have your check from this company. They do not appreciate the off shift people. They forget to order things and expect you just to “figure it out” They fire people you need and expect everyone else to absorb the excess work instantly. Management has been witnessed cussing out employees and speaking to them terribly, they do not follow their core guiding principles of treating people with dignity and respect. Their integrity must then always be in question. The customer is not first, they just want their money. Quantity not quality. I could go on and on. The team of actual workers are amazing. That’s why there are two stars.

Vantaggi

Strong growth and opportunities to develop and implement improvements. Excellent exposure across all branches of the organization and access to key resources. The team is highly supportive, with everyone committed to doing their best.

Svantaggi

Frequent leadership changes and a disconnect between senior leadership’s mission/vision and what is experienced on the floor. Results are often driven by individual effort rather than standardized, repeatable processes, creating risk when key contributors leave. Accountability response is slow, and operating as a “company of companies” continues to present challenges.
