- Learn a lot from code reviews. Ex-google Engineers review the code. - Learn to fix design mistakes. They don't allow shortcuts. - Everyone, I mean everyone, is an engineer. Many smart people.

- When managers explain, and you don't take notes, you will make mistakes. Not much time given to fix mistakes. - Don't join unless you love coding and you can fix your own mistakes. I saw developers who join at the same time take different routes in six months. One got promoted with salary increase, and one lost his job for not coding to company standards. - If you say "I did my job" and job is not finished, management holds you responsible. They say you are the owner and engineers are responsible for job success. They dont accept reasons or excuse.

Salary: The salary is really, really good compared to the other companies in Turkey. If you stay long enough, you can get excellent compensation. Other employees: There are really good friendships made at the office. Everyone is respectful to each other and very friendly. Coffee breaks: When you are exhausted, you are always free to take a break.

Work-life balance: Customers of the product are primarily in the USA. Since the company pays you a good salary, the managers find the right to call you at night if something is wrong. After you get home in the evening, you can't even have dinner since there are evening meetings every day. Some colleagues have to leave the office at 11 pm because of the endless meetings. The product must be supported 24/7 so you might be disturbed even on public holidays or your day-offs. Self-development: You can find new technologies to work with but mainly you are supposed to do bug fixes and minimal changes to the code. The code is legacy and you are usually not allowed to make it better. Sometimes you might feel like a customer support rather than a developer. Terrible management: This is probably the main reason that the company loses so many employees. When you have a problem, the only option is to quit because there is no value given to employees regardless of their years of experience in the company. You are just a worker who can be replaced.
