Vantaggi
- easy to get last-minute voluntary time off if you need rest (its phyically demanding) - early finish time so you can potentially work it around afternoon commitments - great if you don't like working with others and wanna be left alone - Pay is above the national living wage - If you love easy, repetitive and mindless work, then it's ideal! - Good exercise, you can easily rack up 20,000 steps - Supportive supervisors
Svantaggi
- You are just a number and no one cares about you (could be a pro) - Voluntary time off is unpaid - dirty - early start times 5.30am - some employees can be really grumpy and rude - repetitive (also, could be a pro if this is your vibe) - It takes its toll on your body if you don't look after yourself - Management have dealt with so many dosey people that you kind of have to prove that you're not an idiot for several weeks before they stop breathing down your neck and let you get on with it. It's not a rocket science job so this is annoying if you're someone who gets to grips with it within the first 5 days. - Do not share your business with others; some employees cling to any tiny bit of info they can get and create gossip, so it's best to keep a low profile.
