After working at ACB for about 2+ years, I’d like to share my working experience. Frankly speaking, I would not recommend anyone to work at this place. But there are still some good things that are worth mentioning: - potentially, they can give you many working hours if you request it - most of the students come from wealthy family who value education and manners - friendly working atmosphere with other co-workers - senior teachers are experienced, professional, and give good advice

OK, so there are quite a few bad things to point out…mostly money-related. - the hourly wage is really low compared to the other schools. “Teaching hours”are usually paid at 1200yen-1800yen per hour. How much you get probably depends on where you are from and how they view you as a person. From what I see and know, it is not based on one’s working experience at all. - Since it is a kindergarten, you will probably get assigned to work for nap time, special events, or playtime. Those hours are only paid 1000 yen per hour. Special events like on training days, Halloween, or Christmas are long and very tiring. - If your private lesson student is absent, they don’t pay you anything. If the students are late for the class, it is deducted from your wage. - You need to pay 1000yen for your working uniform on the first day of work - You should keep track of your monthly payment since they often “miscalculate” and pay you less. - You will be given back to back lessons for hours, and there will be no water break or toilet break (lunch break is not paid if you work all day there). - Class preparation time and clean-up is only 10 minutes each, so you always need to rush from one room to the next.

Nice opportunity to build teaching experience with good support.

The way of dealing with staffs are less professional.
