Vantaggi

Was a great place to work, with typical complaints (salary too low, not enough work life balance, low raises, etc.)

Svantaggi

One of the biggest complaints over the years, in the TX locations, was the poor culture, with management being derogatory, making decisions in a silo, treating people with disrespect. Executive management was finally turning this around, until it was decided to sell the company to Brookfield Asset Management. With the decision to sell there were also changes in Sr. Leadership. Sr. Leadership was brought in that brought the old culture back. Change isn’t always bad, and should be expected, but can be handled without sacrificing employee moral. This was not the case, and sr. and exec. leadership were making decisions without regard for the impact to the staff.

Vantaggi

The company offers valuable insurance education opportunities and a tuition reimbursement program that supports professional development.

Svantaggi

There is little incentive for long-term loyalty. Compensation appears to be based on legacy pay structures, resulting in new hires sometimes receiving higher starting salaries than long-tenured employees with extensive institutional knowledge and expertise in company processes.
