High science and decent pipe line

Amgen has a great reputation of being a high science, patient focused, and leading bio pharmaceutical company. Leadership portrays an image that does not trickle down to the commercial sales level. There’s so much nonsense going on in the field that leader ship is unaware of. It’s very sad. There’s a big gap between corporate image - which is stellar and would make one proud to wear the Amgen name tag. However there are problems that exist regarding compliance and policy adherence in the field that needs to be uncovered and addressed so that corporate image aligned with reality in the field.

The culture and leadership experience became increasingly inconsistent during the last year. Decision-making often lacked transparency, priorities shifted frequently, and employee feedback did not always appear to be valued. The people-centered culture that attracted many long-tenured employees seemed to drift, resulting in reduced trust, lower engagement, and increased organizational uncertainty.
