Compensation is competitive, and as long as you meet performance expectations, bonuses have consistently paid out. Benefits are also great. From my experience, when challenges come up, the teams work together to dig into the root causes and find solutions, which makes it feel like everyone is pulling in the same direction. Employees genuinely care about each other which is not always something that exists in a workplace. Recently, the management team has made some tough but important decisions to let go a number of employees across the organization so that it can put its resources toward the areas of the business where they’re more needed. The company is importantly mission driven but also focused on profitability, since that’s what funds new projects and growth.

The industry has faced some challenges recently, which led to restructuring. With so many remote employees, the office can feel a little disconnected, though there’s been a clear push to bring more Chicago-based people into the company. Communication hasn’t always been great, but the recent institution of monthly all-hands meetings are helping. It is a smaller company, so there isn't always coverage/overlap on roles.

Great experience in an interesting industry. Small company that has a lot of opportunities to learn if you’re willing to seek them out. Aside from the Leadership Team, everyone is very pleasant to work with.

Svantaggi

Very top heavy organization with SLT operating as a clique that welcomes opinions but doesn’t take them seriously nor do they take any concrete action to improve the culture of the company. No real plan for developing talent.
