Good pay per hour rate, easy "hands off" approach when you're on contract, small cash bonuses here and there, a few team lunches

No Benefits or paid time off. One stop shop that depends on contracts at Microsoft - really need to branch out to other local companies

They work primarily with Microsoft and know several MSFT managers. They are extremely desperate to become an approved supplier for MSFT.

Emotionally unstable and extremely unprofessional female owner / President. Turned a wonderful working experience at MSFT and made it a nightmare. She was extremely resentful at how much money she was paying me, so she kept telling me to transfer off of W2 so I would have to pay my own taxes. She never paid me my final check and when I complained to MSFT she fabricated a huge lie to the WA State Unemployment Dept and told them I was fired from MSFT, when I wasn't fired at all, my contract just completed. I had to spend weeks compiling all the proof I had (which I had tons) that I wasn't fired from MSFT so I could get approved for the normal unemployment benefits common for contractors to get. It was a nightmare dealing with her and I highly warn anyone considering working for Trudy to reconsider. I hired an attorney to sue her but ended up not being able to because employers are allowed to lie to the State Unemployment Dept, and cannot be sued even though I had ample proof of her lies and attempt at retaliating against me.
