Anais is a small software development company with offices in Buxelles (management) and Bucharest (development & hr). First of all, the people I had to work with over the years were most of the time great (both from a professional perspective and from a personal one), at least at the office in Bucharest. Helpful, knowledgeable, open and honest, they provided a great working environment. I learned a lot over the years and I consider them my second family. Second of all, I had a chance to work on plenty of challenging and interesting projects, varied not only as business requirements, but also as applied technologies. Last but not least, Anais offers a somewhat competitive salary package and extra benefits (private medical insurance, food tickets, internal professional training, R&D, extra curricular activities etc.) In conclusion, it is a good working environment, but it could be much better.

While the guys at the office in Bucharest are great, much could be improved on the management side in Bruxelles. Not everyone seems rightly qualified for their job/role or they sometimes appear overwhelmed. The internal processes are lacking and not fully respected (frequent context switching for developers, direct interaction between developers and client etc.). Also, from time to time there is a somewhat severe lack of new projects.
