Vantaggi
The people I work with are all really friendly, including management. Everyone typically works well together as a team to get everything accomplished that needs done. The company offers a benefits package consisting of health, dental, and life insurance; 2 weeks paid vacation, and 3 paid personal days; and match 3% on an IRA account. Being a small company, everybody knows everybody including upper-management Once you're in, you have good job security. Few people ever leave the company due to termination.
Svantaggi
There is little potential to move up in the company. Hard work is rarely rewarded, but just used as an incentive to add to one's work load. The company prefers to over-stretch employees as opposed to hiring replacements for employees that leave. The hours can be long, workers sometimes putting in up to 12 hr shifts for extended periods of time. You will at least rack up 8 1/2 to 9 hours a shift, and many times you won't know that you are going to have an unusually late evening until the last hour of the day. Raises are unheard of and the pay is poor for the amount of work expected. While management is friendly on a personal level, they do a poor job of managing. They have no idea what is going on with the day to day operations of the business unless we tell them or a client calls wanting their results.
