Open office environment which makes it difficult to maintain confidentiality when needed unless discussions and telephone calls are conducted in a conference room. Record of repeated bankruptcy and ownership changeover. Employees "own" their work and are not receptive to cross training which creates backlog during absences; management usually steps in to cover instead of peers. Long history of downsizing. Frequent audits. Not all employees will take on additional work and management can be overworked. Corporate location doesn't offer much advancement opportunity.
