Work life balance is great and is strongly encouraged. Appian is a true people first company and that messaging is consistent. The software is legitimately fun to work in and is very high quality. Appian invests time and money to teaching employees and building their skills. The learnings are also reinforced, so it's NOT "here's a doc and good luck", but instead there are plenty of opportunities to learn more, to ask questions and to become a master. The remote employees are fully incorporated into team building and culture, which isn't always easy to do. I enjoy working at Appian from the culture to the people to the product and I plan on staying for a long time.

They do use Gmail which can be difficult and sometimes "roadblockish" in getting things done.
