This company advertised my role as a ' sales administration role' when in fact it was a straight up cold calling leads generation/sales role. Right from the beginning, I expressed concern that I did not have the experience nor did I want to work in selling. I have a design degree and ample experience in admin, but this was in no way utilised. I am angry that the company hid the actual true nature of the role. It was a complete waste of my time. I was pressured to meet targets and would be told to record all my "leads" on a big white board for the whole office to see & comment. It was degrading and patronising. DO NOT ADVERTISE ROLES AS SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE NOT. Despite all of this, I was actually successful in generating some sales in the short time I was there. For this, I was promised some vouchers. After handing in my notice, some excuse was made and I never received all of my vouchers owed. Total scam. Do not be fooled.
