It's like working at home, but in a much nicer home. The people here are open-minded, and the creative team drives a fun internal atmosphere. There is always plenty of food - in the last week we've had Taco Tuesday, Frosty Wednesday and Donut Fridays. Pizza and salads are ordered on any client-deadline and RFP late nights. The work is challenging, and ideal for folks who are looking for variation and depth to their work. Each work day is different, and you're called on to perform at high standards regardless of task - a challenge which may be tough for anyone interested in focusing on one specific talent. Another bonus, as mentioned by the other reviewer, albeit somewhat sarcastically, is that if you are a loyal and dedicated employee (often this is a reflection of how long you've been with the company), management will work with you on your life/work balance. Yes, your arrangement with the executives may allow you to come in late or leave early, but you'll be tasked to make up for it in other ways. Each person's situation is different; but this may seem confusing to someone who hasn't been with the company for long or someone who compares their own situation to others and focuses on what is or isn't "fair."

This is fast-paced, hard work. There is no doubt about it. The team is small, and the work environment is open, so you can see and hear everything around you. This can be distracting especially if you are someone who can't focus on your own work or wants to converse with others all the time. Additionally, because there is very little down time, if you're looking for a training environment, this might not be it. Training here is hands-on, get-dirty real work. One other con would be that you will have to work with numerous clients, vendors and team members on jobs, and not everyone will be pleasant, all the time. Because the team is smaller, there aren't layers of managers to shield people from emotional situations. This can be tough. There are crazy days, and everyone from the creative team to the account executives to the creative director will be working with emotionally-charged people. It's definitely not for the weak.
