Vantaggi

1. Good starting salary and benefits 2. Good if you are hired as a manager. Enjoy with no accountability. 2. Very easy work/ task ..just do what your co-workers in US say to do 3. Good for Contractors as in some groups they are given more respect than Full time employee at least in India office 4. can enjoy at least 2 trip per year to US/ Singapore 5.good work life balance

Svantaggi

1. Not much learning.Technology and domain is of no use in India for Mechanical Engineer at least. 2. Same type of work for all career bands.. 1 year and 6 years exp. engineer doing same work 2. Managers are just for doing yearly appraisals and approving your expense reports and bills. They ( in India office) are not technically suited for Design work ( whatever little you do ). Engineers don't get any input from them . They just advice that do what your co-workers in US ask you to do .Some of them are PhD ..but that of no use in India..they are good for research that never happens in India office. 3. After you work here for long time you can't get a job outside easily, you need to brush up your basic as this High tech company only good if you are a manager 4. In some teams its possible that you can work under a contractor or a contractor can assign you work.

Vantaggi

This is a company with a great future and overall many smart and talented work colleagues.

Svantaggi

There are pockets of poorly managed teams and the Global Sourcing and Procurement Team is one of them. Working for GSP was a soul crushing experience. On a regular basis, I witnessed and experienced mobbing, gaslighting, bullying, senior leaders retaliating and weaponizing the 360 feedback program for their own personal gain, senior leaders taking credit for other peoples work, long tenured leaders abusing their relationships within HR, regular staff crying and people admitting to seeking professional help due to the toxic work environment…ptsd in GSP is real. And to top it off, Applied’s most senior leadership have known of these issues for years.
