varied projects there are 30 year veterans at arcadis but all consulting firms have 30 yr vets-nothing admirable. they all share the same business model, so leaving is just a different bucket.

account leaders don't talk to each other; no such thing as work/life balance; people send emails 24 hrs /day in your time zone, answers are expected within an hour if normal work hours; they hit the send button and now its your problem (that's just crappy managing). PTO not respected even with coverage reminders for certain people, thats natural at any firm for higher ups but still shows lack of respect-"I emailed them!". billability rules! templates galore-no one wants to do the work-never heard the term "go by" till i got to arcadis;
