Toxic environment, stay away - Recensione dipendente - Industrial Automation Developer presso ArcelorMittal

This is a toxic work environment. IT is central to their business model but they refuse to make any serious investment in improving infrastructure. The department is understaffed and turn over is high. The IT department serves 5 different plants and the staff is mistreated, abused, and blamed for the bad and barely functiinal infrastructure by all of them. They still have large portions of their operations running off a custom Fortran application on a VAX and refuse to invest money to modernize it. It's a bad place to work, stay away.
